Walter L. Deane

Walter L. Deane founded TPFH with Rob Silvay in 2013. Walter is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York with over thirty years of experience in the real estate business and responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars of residential and commercial transactions. In addition to TPFH, Walter is Founder of Longstreet & Associates in Manhattan specializing in office space leasing. Walter graduated from Duke University and holds a Masters from Harvard University.

Walter has held board positions with St. Mary’s Church, The Tuxedo Historical. Society and The Tuxedo Club. In addition to Tuxedo community and philanthropic involvement, Walter is also very active with several New York City boards, including the NY Landmarks Conservancy. Walter has been a Tuxedo Park resident for 30 years and lives in a house built in 1892 by architect James Brown Lord. 

Tinka Shaw

Tinka Shaw joined the TPFH team in 2017. Prior to real estate, Tinka has an extensive business background including several successful local ventures. Having grown up in Sweden and Brazil, Tinka is fluent in Swedish and Portuguese, and is also fluent in French, Spanish and excellent working knowledge of Italian. Tinka graduated from Duke University and holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Tinka has held several leadership positions in the Village of Tuxedo Park government and is currently an elected member of the Village Board of Trustees. Tinka raised her family in Tuxedo Park and has lived here for over 20 years and lives in one of the original shingle cottages by Architect Bruce Price, built in 1886.

Robert Silvay

Rob Silvay founded TPFH with Walter L. Deane in 2013. Prior to real estate, Rob traded commodity derivatives for over 25 years in NYC and Chicago. In addition to TPFH, Rob is a vice president in the Mergers & Acquisitions Team at Alliant Insurance Services. Rob graduated from Georgetown University and holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Rob previously sat on the boards of The Tuxedo Park School and The Tuxedo Club.
